JJ Rhymes has been at the piano since he was ten, and he hasn't stopped since.

Raised in south Louisiana, he came up through jazz and classical study at UL Lafayette, then spent years on bandstands across the Gulf Coast: weddings, clubs, corporate ballrooms, festival stages, and second-lines. Solo cocktail piano to a full dance band, a music director when a room needs one, and a quick study who reads the cues and the charts. More than 700 tunes live in his hands, from standards and blues to zydeco, R&B, and whatever the night calls for.

Away from the stage, JJ builds software: the tools he wished existed as a working musician, brought to life with the same obsession he brings to the keys.
