M1What Mnestia is

Mnestia is a desktop application for AI-assisted development and knowledge management. It provides a vault system, wikilink graph, agent terminal, code editor, project builder, FTP client, and debugger — all in one native window. It runs locally on your computer. It is proprietary subscription software published by JJ Rhymes, Lafayette, Louisiana, USA.

M2Subscription terms

Mnestia costs $10 per month. Your subscription begins when you complete payment and renews monthly on the same date. Payment is processed by a third-party provider under their own terms. You can also subscribe as part of the complete bundle ($35/mo for all paid apps).

M3Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you retain access to Mnestia until the end of your current billing period. When your subscription ends, the app stops functioning, but all your files remain on your machine — your vault, your projects, your notes. They are plain files you can open with any text editor. Re-subscribe at any time to resume.

M4Refunds

If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription payment, you may request a pro-rata refund for unused time. After 14 days, or on any renewal payment, subscriptions are non-refundable. To request a refund, email booking@jjrhymes.com.

M5License scope

Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to install and use Mnestia on your own computers for personal or commercial purposes. You may use Mnestia to build and sell software commercially. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Mnestia application itself.

M6Your content and data

You own everything you create with Mnestia — your vault, your notes, your projects, your code. All data is stored locally on your machine as plain files. I have no access to your vault, your notes, your AI conversations, or any part of your system. Mnestia does not upload, sync, or transmit your data to me or any server I control.

M7AI agents and third-party services

Mnestia is an ACP client — you connect your own AI agent (Claude, GPT, Ollama, or any ACP-speaking provider). I do not provide the AI service, do not control what your agent does, and am not responsible for the AI provider's terms, pricing, output quality, or data handling. Your relationship with your AI provider is governed by their terms. Anything your AI agent does on your machine is your responsibility.

M8Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Redistribute, sublicense, or make the application available to others
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose or to harm others
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding

M9Updates and changes

Updates to Mnestia are included in your subscription at no additional cost. I may update the application's features, interface, and functionality at any time. These terms may be updated; changes take effect when posted with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

M10Disclaimer of warranties

Mnestia is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. I do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with all systems, or that the application will meet your specific requirements. I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

M11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Mnestia. My total aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

M12Termination

I may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using Mnestia, but you keep all files you created — they are yours regardless of subscription status.

M13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA. Courts in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana have exclusive jurisdiction.
