S1What Skenia is

Skenia is a desktop application for live music performance. It hosts VST3 and Audio Unit plugins in a free-wire node graph, supports glitch-free scene switching with crossfades, MIDI learn for any parameter, and saves complete show files. Built with C++17 and JUCE 8. All audio processing is local. Proprietary subscription software published by JJ Rhymes, Lafayette, Louisiana, USA.

S2Subscription terms

Skenia costs $10 per month. Renews monthly. Payment processed by a third-party provider. Also available in the complete bundle ($35/mo for all paid apps).

S3Cancellation

Cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. Your .skenia show files, scene configurations, and MIDI mappings remain on your machine.

S4Refunds

Pro-rata refund available within 14 days of first payment. After 14 days or on renewals, non-refundable. Email booking@jjrhymes.com.

S5License scope

Non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license for personal or commercial use. You may use Skenia in live performances, rehearsals, and studio work. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the application itself.

S6Your show files

Your .skenia show files — including scenes, node graphs, plugin states, and MIDI mappings — are yours. They are stored locally. I have no access to your show files, your plugin library, or your audio setup.

S7Third-party plugins

Skenia hosts VST3 and Audio Unit plugins that you install separately. These plugins are third-party software with their own licenses — Skenia does not include, distribute, or take responsibility for any third-party plugin. Plugin compatibility, stability, and licensing are between you and the plugin vendor.

S8Live performance disclaimer

Skenia is real-time audio software designed for stage use. However: always test your complete rig before any critical performance. Real-time audio depends on your hardware, drivers, plugins, and system configuration. I do not guarantee zero-latency operation, crash-free performance, or compatibility with all plugin and hardware combinations. Have a backup plan for important shows.

S9Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Redistribute, sublicense, or make the application available to others
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

S10Disclaimer of warranties

Skenia is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. I disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

S11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to audio dropouts, plugin crashes, or performance interruptions during live shows. My total aggregate liability is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

S12Governing law

Laws of the State of Louisiana, USA. Courts in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
