6-stem AI separation

Demucs neural network isolates drums, bass, vocals, guitar, piano, and other instruments into clean individual tracks. GPU-accelerated, three quality levels from fast draft to maximum fidelity.

Chord recognition

A bi-directional transformer (BTC) identifies every chord with timing — jazz voicings and all. Toggle “simple mode” to strip extensions (C#m7 → C#m) when you just want the changes.

Beat-synced lead sheets

Lead-sheet score view: chord symbols over slash noteheads, rendered from ABC notation with abcjs. Editable — drag chords, adjust the pickup, zoom the sheet. Dark and light themes.

Lyrics & drum transcription

OpenAI Whisper transcribes lyrics with timing. A separate drum analysis pass detects individual hits. Basic-Pitch handles melodic pitch tracking for bass and piano lines.

Tempo, key & meter detection

BPM with range analysis, key signature, time signature, and a frame-accurate beat grid — all computed automatically from the audio. Snap-to-beat is baked into the timeline.

No cloud processing, no uploads, no accounts. Your audio never leaves your machine. CUDA-accelerated Python does the heavy lifting on your own GPU.

A full stem mixer with per-track volume, pan, solo, and mute. A built-in EQ with automatic “bleed guard” cuts the frequency bands where other stems leak through. Slow it down to half speed without changing pitch. Loop any section. Hear only what you need.

EQ with bleed guard

Automatic frequency-band cuts where stems bleed into each other, driven by the separation data. Cleaner isolation without manual EQ work.

Pitch-preserving speed control

Slow down to 0.5× to learn a fast passage, or speed up to 2×. The pitch stays locked. Paired with looping, this is the practice tool.

Timeline & loop markers

Snap-to-grid timeline with a chord lane above the waveform. Drag region markers for seamless loops. Frame-accurate seeking with HTTP range support.
