Lysia terms of service.
Effective July 16, 2026
Lysia splits songs into stems, transcribes chords and lyrics, and gives you a mixer — $10/mo, cancel any time. All processing happens locally on your GPU. Your audio never leaves your machine. For site-wide terms, see jjrhymes.com terms.
L1What Lysia is
Lysia is a desktop application for audio stem separation and music transcription. It uses AI models running on your local GPU to split songs into six stems (drums, bass, vocals, guitar, piano, other), detect chords and tempo, transcribe lyrics, and generate lead sheets. All processing happens on your machine — no audio is uploaded or sent anywhere. Proprietary subscription software published by JJ Rhymes, Lafayette, Louisiana, USA.
L2Subscription terms
Lysia costs $10 per month. Your subscription begins when you complete payment and renews monthly. Payment is processed by a third-party provider under their terms. Also available in the complete bundle ($35/mo for all paid apps).
L3Cancellation
Cancel at any time. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your exported stems, lead sheets, and project files remain on your machine after cancellation.
L4Refunds
Request a pro-rata refund within 14 days of your first payment. After 14 days or on renewal payments, subscriptions are non-refundable. Email booking@jjrhymes.com for refund requests.
L5License scope
Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to install and use Lysia for personal or commercial purposes. You may use exported stems and transcriptions in your own productions, performances, and commercial work. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Lysia application itself.
L6Your audio and data
You own all audio you process through Lysia — both input files and output stems, transcriptions, and lead sheets. Your audio never leaves your machine. All processing runs locally on your GPU. I have no access to your audio files, your song library, or any data on your computer.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any audio you load into Lysia (e.g., your own recordings, properly licensed tracks, or tracks where stem extraction is permitted).
L7Bundled AI models
Lysia bundles open-source AI models for its processing pipeline, including Demucs (stem separation), Whisper (transcription), and Basic-Pitch (pitch detection). These models are distributed under their respective open-source licenses. The models run entirely on your machine.
L8System requirements
Lysia requires a CUDA-compatible GPU for optimal performance. It can run on CPU but processing will be significantly slower. Specific minimum requirements are listed on the product page. I do not guarantee compatibility with all hardware configurations.
L9Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Redistribute, sublicense, or make the application available to others
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
L10Disclaimer of warranties
Lysia is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Stem separation quality varies by source material — densely mixed or low-quality recordings may produce less clean results. Chord detection and transcription are AI-generated and may contain errors. I disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
L11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. My total aggregate liability is capped at the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
L12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA. Courts in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana have exclusive jurisdiction.
